Dalu sent us the following message:
I would like to thank each and every one of you who supports the Bill 7 Award scholarship. This initiative truly embodies your commitment and compassion for the LGBTTQQUIAA community. When I received the scholarship, I was homeless, living in a youth shelter at York University. My budget was very limited, therefore there was little room for me to even dream of having my own safe home.
However, the Bill 7 Award allowed me to get my first apartment in Canada. I now live on my own, in a safe apartment. I now have easy access to my classes and the library.
